Make a list in Excel, and allways keep updating it.
Eventually, you will get to the point that your mornings consist of only Tech inspection.

- Ensure proper lug nut torque on all your wheels.
- Ensure your helmet is a snell A2000 or M2000 rated.
- Remove your entire interior loose parts, and clean out your glove box, center console. You want nothing loose in your car, even if it's behind a door or under the seat.
- Check tire pressures and tread depth.
- Check your battery fluids, and ensure it is TIGHT.
- Bleed brakes with proper Dot4 fluid.
- Install new brake pads and bed them in before the event.
- Check for vacuum leaks, and inspect all your hoses and clamps.
- It's not a terrible idea to consider an oil change, but certainly not mandatory

for first timers:
Before Track Day:
1. Hydrate yourself the day before Track Day & avoid alcohol the night before
2. Get a good night's sleep
....got to be alert & quick to respond out there
At The Track before/after every run:
1. Hydrate
2. re-torque Lug Nuts
3. check fluids & radiator(last time u replaced thermostat?)
4. last lap cool down staying off brakes
4. stay-off brakes after Run & park on flat ground without e-brake(in case it sticks on you & ruins your day)
